What we do?

The library at the Silesian Centre for Heart Diseases welcomes you to use its stock, books, manuals and subscriptions, mainly in the field of cardiology, cardiac surgery and anesthesiology.

 

 

We have the subscription-based access to the full-text database of Science Direct - the world's leading source for scientific, technical, and medical research. It hosts over 12 million pieces of content from 3,500 academic journals and 34,000 e-books, starting from 1995 as well as archives with over 400 not-continued titles.

Anyone who is interested in getting access to this database needs to register at the library first.

The library provides thematical overviews on the subject or issue requested by the researcher, the source of which are four main scientific databases.
