April 30 – May 2, 2009 Warsaw Poland www.escvsannualcongress.org We invite you to Warsaw, Poland – the venue of the 58th Congress of the European Society for Cardio-Vascular Surgery. From 30th April to 2nd May 2009 we will meet in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, a city and a country which despite centuries of tempestuous history have become a symbol of peaceful transformation within Europe. We are confident that it will be an excellent Congress and a marvellous opportunity for an international gathering of cardiac and vascular surgeons but also cardiologists, angiologists, anaesthetists, perfusionists and ICU nurses, great opportunity to exchange and enrich knowledge and experience, in the context of the latest advances in cardiac and vascular surgery. Concern for a high scientific and educational level is an overriding task of ESCVS’s Scientific Committee. For this reason, much of the programme will be dedicated to educational sessions, seminars and video presentations. Next year’s European Congress will also be a special opportunity to become better acquainted with Poland and its capital with a great culture, historical past and wonderful thriving present. Congress participants will have the opportunity to visit splendid world-renowned Warsaw museums, centres of art and culture.
